DESCRIPTION:Chorus Angelorum and Iona Consort present a free concert inspired by music and traditions from the Moravian Church at 4:00 PM October 11. Music was central to Moravian life and worship as one of the oldest denominations dating back to the 15th Century. Brought to the American colonies in the mid-18th Century\, the musical selections are filled with their spirit and practice of unity\, liberty and love. Pre-concert Moravian sweets and coffee served and reception to meet the musicians in the garden with Octoberfest-themed refreshments immediately following the performance at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church\, 1200 Snell Isle Blvd\, St. Petersburg.
