Inspired by imaginary coastal spaces\, ocean light\, rhythmic movement\, tropical color\, the energy of street art\, and a hint of the cosmic\, this body of work explores environments that feel both vibrant and introspective. Layered surfaces\, fluid forms\, and bold color interactions create an atmosphere that moves between dreamscape and memory—places that do not exist\, yet feel familiar. The work balances playfulness with reflection\, inviting moments of connection\, engagement\, and emotional escape. \nThrough Joyland\, viewers are invited into a vivid world where imagination\, energy and emotion converge—a space that rekindles wonder and joy. \nBenaiah Cusack is an abstract landscape and mixed-media painter working in acrylic\, ink\, graphite\, and collage. His practice explores color\, gesture\, and layered composition\, shifting between structure and spontaneity to build surfaces shaped through an intuitive process. Based in St. Petersburg\, Florida\, his work draws from coastal environments\, street art and mural culture\, atmospheric light\, and rhythmic movement\, translating fragments of observation into painted works.
